Some cloudiness rolling in through the gorge. Early afternoon session was just like yesterday but with less wind. Rigged up the 5.5 and it was gusty lake sailing. Wait for a puff, waterstart, sink to knees, pump to schlogging speed, schlog, halfway across the river, bear off in minigust on swell (heading way downwind), get on plane, hope it lasts for a jibe, wheeee, flip the sail at a dead stop, etc.... wound up way downwind *again* and basically had to let the lax current move me back to the launch for a midday break--barge was coming through anyway.

Afternoon session was much better. It got kind of stormy looking and the wind filled in. Plenty of nice runs with hardly any lulls. A good session to end the season on.
