Mixed results today. The board did much better at Bird than in the waves, and it pretty much lives up to my expectations of its flat water performance. It continues to perform well at UW3s in the straps. Does not plane nearly at early as I hoped/expected. Sinks mor than I'd expected. But those things could be due to yesterday's plug-less sailing, which depending on who you ask could have been either a death sentence for the board or not much of a problem. Well I'm going to take the optimists' side and for now assume that any malfunction is due to me not being used to the board, not due to the board possibly being waterlogged. Anyway and I did get the furthest I ever have on the gecko. I feel it...that's my next move. but I can only practice a few per sesh before my feet get sore.
