It was one of those days where everything clicked. Right sail, right board, right fin = Mega fun. Confirmed max speed GPS Action Replay - there were some really fast runs & caught some Golden Gusts. The final run of the day was the most fun - I went past S. Island #3 and did a screaming reach back to the launch - blasting over the backs of rollers.
The 6.6 Hucker was so stable and never felt over-powered although according to the Bird wind, there were gusts over 25 mph. I was really enjoying jibing the Hucker today. Felt like a smaller sail because it handled so well. Lots of windsurfers and lots of fun. First time to get really nailed - not just grazed - by a mullet - left a whelt on the inside of my thigh.
