Tons of stability and control issues with my new board. I catapaulted several times, walked up the beach once, and blew most of my tacks and jibes in the beginning. I was completely disappointed, especially since I've tried so much demo gear and adapted to that so much more easily. But, like a mail order bride, there are some things you just have to learn to love. I will adapt to my board. Tamay's fin helped (thank you!!!). Sailing with the plug out did not help. Meg found me a plug later, but that was after my having sailed a couple hours plug-less. Second sesh w/B&M helped salvage the day. We stayed out til after sunset. Tried the babe ruth point for looping but did not work yet. Total sailing time today: 4.5 hours.
