NE is absolutely the wrong wind direction for Coniver Grove, and so it proved. All the wind is blocked, not even enough to waterstart. While 30km away it's 30 knots with onshore winds. But that's simply too much for me in the conditions that exist at Takapunu, yesterday was already hard, today would have been even harder.

Anyway, 18 knots promised for Saturday, so we'll see.
