I'm really having a good time sailing at Oleander Point. The chop and the medium-sized rollers are a blast to play in.

Today it was iffy, but I eventually rigged my 6.6 and went out. The first 20 or 30 minutes was a total slogfest, but eventually it picked up about 5mph and I began to learn a little bit about how to plane up in lighter winds and a choppy body of water. Then for about two hours I ripped, just a tad underpowered, but comfortable. I did pretty well with jibes, but didn't get any good jumps and my duck jibes are just horrible. I think I'm waiting too long to throw the sail. Will try again soon.
