Started on the Sonic 110 and made my best speed of the day before going 5 miles. Sailed a little over 11 miles on the Sonic and went in for the 78 ltr JP. Made a couple of crossings to the KRS. Also made several tacks to get just south of Island #2, then broad reached most of the way back - that was fun! Mike Murphy & I sailed/fun raced together for several runs to Island #1 till I blew a jibe on the north end and ended a fun mini-race. We never seemed to get back on the same path again after that but I'd like to do that again - OK Mike?!!
The water was high and merky in the shallows from all the rain runoff. I'm not going in the bay until I see the regulars sailing there again - the water quality is probably going to be pretty bad for a while.
