This day was EPIC for several reasons. Passed the 1,000 mile mid-year goal for distance. The wind was FAR BETTER than the forecast (10-15 mph and 60% chance of rain). And Mike Murphy and I sailed together to the KRS past the cabins! I've NEVER been that far. I've only been to the cabins - I love going for long runs - I would have never ventured that far without Murph. On the water at 12:30 and sailed till 4:30. The first couple of hours I made several runs past SI#1 to the KRS. The wind was so steady and everything was clicking. Even with the minor problem of weeds catching in the front of the fin. I'll just put a thicker gasket on it and problem solved. | ||
