Hooray! Bonus day! Started the day surfing @ SoPac and fulfilling my life-long dream of jumping off a jetty into the transient depths, followed by the giant sucking shallows of exposed granite boulders. Mike had to do it first though, since i was chicken (so was he, actually, but he quickly overcame it.) After he did it, I'm left standing on the rocks thinking that this will become my forward loop of surfing...the Elvis monkey that will not get off my back or leave the building. I quickly put an end to that notion and overcame the fear, with only a minor flesh wound.

Got a very sloppy planing duck tack. Begged Mike to try a vulcan on my Trance...he obliged and almost made one, so I was inspired and tried a couple too. Started trying flakas again because I think they may be more attainable for me than vulcans. I got .02% better at the flakas after 6 or so attempts.
UW3's are coming sooooo much easier/smoother/faster now that I'm looking over my front shoulder to finish them off.
