Lots of wind, fun. Found the 5.4 a little too much at times, but also noticed that when I flattened it out a lot, it handled better in guts but had almost nothing on the low end. This helps me understand my problems in the bay, where I tend to flatten my sails for control, but too much apparently. Perhaps going smaller would make more sense, as I could have low end power plus high end control. The sail would be rigged as the designer intended, instead of as a paranoid windsurfer was doing. I've struggled so much at times when the sail felt just like this. So I'm betting it's the downhaul + outhaul that is my problem. Man, to think of all the frustrating days in the bay!!! | ||
