Upon arrival, many warned of the jelly fish - luckily I brought my full lycra pants but I still got stung several times around the ankles that weren't covered. Stung like hell too. Most of the jellies were in the shallow waters between the drop-off and the shore.
Started out on the Sonic 90 and 5.6 Hucker - had a pretty fun 12 mile session then the wind really filled in nicely and the board was unruly. What I should have done is change boards. I changed board and sail. The 4.8 was just fine and had a lot of fun full planning runs until it dropped off around 3pm. I had de-rigged the 5.6 or I would have just popped it back on and went out again. The best part of this session was making lots of nice jibes. Missed a lot of good days due to the van being worked on, so I really had hoped to sail longer. Tomorrow's forecast is better. Monday is supposed to rock so I'll have to hit the Bay right after work.
