It was blowing real good when I started out, even a little overpowered in the gusts, but really started dying off about 6:00. Started out with my mast foot back a couple of inches further back than usual and then moved it fwd a little bit each run just to test the effect. I've never really played around with the different adjustments on this equipment since I got it last summer. I just rigged and sailed. Thought I'd try a new approach and try to tweak things a little bit each session and try to find the best settings. Add a little down haul, figure out which way to move the mast foot etc. I ain't going to get more athletic, maybe getting more precise will help.
