A lazy day. A classic Hatteras day.

Awoke with the sunlight. Ate, checked the forecast, hit the beach. It was sunny and in the mid 70's. We sunned, the kids built a sand castle, and we returned to the beach house and made lunch. A food coma nap and then I headed to the Canadian Hole. Only a few folks there, schlogging. I rigged hoping the late afternoon forecasted wind would arrive.

Soon I was planing, then it filled in nicely. Killer '07 gear. Warm, windy, sunny, and in the 70's. It doesn't get any better. Eventually, I had to crank on the downhaul, but that was cake with the North ratchet base (XT). Sailed until I was tired. Headed home to a home cooked meal with a great bottle of wine. Hot tub, then a classic Hatteras sunset.

It just doesn't get any better. Kill me now..
