Wind did not pick up until late. Overcast and a bit chilly. Wind was pretty much straight onshore when we first went out. Waves were waist to head by the end. The middle section was barreling. Breaking way out. Joe, Jason, and I worked our way upwind to the waves breaking beyond the Jetty they were Big, further apart and some really smooth. Several Surfers had paddled out that far. Was toug to see them. It was a challenging day but it was Totally fun. Second session wind started to get a little more sideshore in it and I was starting to get overpowered that was fine. Made it much easier on the way out. The waves were punchier than they usualy are. Only other sailor was Gordon and Alissa arrived when I was done. Awesome day!
