Downwinder...Launched at A&M Beach. With Joe, Chuck, and Maggie on Kite. Had a little communication breakdown. Started out everyone Making a run testing there gear. Got the Thumbs up and we were off. Joe headed straight accross. The rest of us Zig Zagged back and forth to take our time. Got a real good look at the Bay. There are tons of oil platforms and weird pipes. Was fun when heading back to shore to try and figure out where you were from the buildings. There were some really big swells out in the IC. Seemed as though it was windiest close to shore and real far out. The middle had alot of holes?? It was weird to do a downwinder from that direction. When I first saw Oleander I realized I had to go way past it to get to shore. Chuck got there shortly after Joe. Maggie and I did it in about 1 hour and 25 min. We could have made it last and last but the middle occasional shclog was a drag. I had a great time. It was a fun adventure.
