Forecasters really blew it today. I got to Bird early thinking it would go
off but there was only a breeze. Everybody was rigging 5.x's in anticipation of
25-30 MPH winds.

I waited a bit but eventually gave in and rigged my 8.3 for the current conditions,
thinking I'd later have to rerig.

Well, I never did have to rerig. Early on it was marginal milking to keep on a
plane. Later it was better, but never off the 8.3. Still fun! But lots of people never
made it to the water.

Looked like a big day at Canyon. Maybe should have stayed in San Antonio ;-).

Ah gotta love this sport!
