5.8 was perfect for the first 1/2 hour and then the wind started getting spotty with a passing line of storm clouds. Forgot to mention it in other sessions this week, but put up thousands upon thousands of scaulps rafted up in the middle of the bay. The white caps hid them until I was right up on them. Must have hid me too cause some of them had a late take off. Several came within 3-4 feet of me. Hitting a duck at 30 plus probably would have been unpleasant for all involved.
