It is sad knowing I have just one more day, but my body is glad.
Morning session was really good. Andy told me to downsize my gear and that was a good call. He showed me where to do a hero gybe, but I could never get the wind to cooperate. It would lull just before that spot. I did a lot of jump gybes. Attempted two duck gybes. One in a lull (not enough speed), and one an almost. The morning was so good I stayed on the water longer, but I paid a price. I think I cooked my brain a little. I was not feeling well, until I got out of the sun. Afternoon session was lighter. I should have changed my gear, but as I said I was feeling baked, so Andy sent me in. I quit an hour early. I wore a GPS for a little time. I did not look at it. I was driving back to SBV before I remembered to stop it. The owner has a software program to figure out my max speed. I am curious (probably 20mph).
Video tonight. I doubt there will be much of me on there.
Got to make tomorrow the day I dial in my planing gybe exits.
