Wanted to get to Bird earlier but my Astro van wouldn't start. So I transferred equipment to my Mercury and headed out. The best weather this year - sunny and fairly windy for T-Bob's birthday. Made one crossing which proved to be a mistake because the wind lightened up and I drifted too far downwind and ran aground in the shallows next to the ICW. No more crossings in such a south wind! I sailed till the wind drop off. Can't complain - it was really fun. | ||
