Bit of a disaster. North is always a bit hard here in Auckland, but Mission Bay and such are North facing so should be good, right? Not according to comments I read later. And indeed, wind wasn't good and I didn't want to get too far away from the beach as I didn't want to spend too much effort getting on the board when I would fall off. So I stayed close, but that wasn't a good decision I think. Just could do some short runs, if I could waterstart. Just not enough wind, and reasonably high waves made this all pretty hard.

In hindsight I should have ventured out further and doing longer runs. I can trust my waterstarts, it's tiring, but just do a few runs and go home.
