Gorgeous weather. Lots of windsurfers. My first day back after a 3 day illness of salmonela poisoning so I was really happy to hang on for so long without tiring. First session on the Sonic 110 was the fastest. Sailed 21.8 miles and GPSAR Software confirms 30.7 mph max speed. (The GPS window showed 31.6 mph which was exciting). I went in and got the 78 liter JP FSW for the fun factor and to run out into the rougher water past Island #2. Max speed on JP was 25.4 mph. Mike Murphy, Don Cryer and I made a long run together past Island #3 - an adventure because I've never been out there. Although I never touched the bottom, Don reports he touched his fin in a few spots. Then Don and I played follow the leader. Don picked me the leader so he could ride on top of my wake.
