A cold front was due and I was ready. Unfortunately, cold fronts around here seem to time their entry as to frustrate us sailors! It came in about 9:30 last night and just about blew itself out by the next morning. I made it out about 9:00 and on the water about half-past. I got a few rides in on the Screamer, but it was dying. I switched to the Allstar 70, and had a few more rides, but it was mostly the same... dying. So, I rigged the 7.8 on the Allstar and had intermittent luck. The times that I really got going I could have been using the 6.6 and Screamer, but the Seatrend and 7.8 held on fine.

I kind of wish I would have never bought the Seatrend. It doesn't seem to lower my planing threshold at all. It actually seems like it takes more wind to get it going. It must be my technique, but it drives me crazy.
