It sure has been a long time since I've sailed - that's what made today an 8. The Starboard Sonic 110 ltr saved the day because there were a lot of holes. The Hucker was a good choice for powering the big board. This is also the first time I've rigged the 5.6 Hucker with a lot less downhaul than I usually apply and I finally felt that extra power that they keep talking about - since I was fully planning and pretty much staying with guys on 7.0 meter sails, I'd say I've finally got the hang of setting the outhaul on the Hucker for max power in marginal conditions.
Willoff bought my 6.0 Retro today. I've been reluctant to sell it, but now that I know how to maximize power in the 5.6 Hucker, I went ahead and sold it to him since he wore out his 6.0 Retro.
