        lulls: 7
        average: 11

Rated a 4 of 10

Board: C145
Sail: 7.5 Severne Gator
Fin: Drake Freeride 52cm
Suit: Boardshorts

The cold front passed and I was there. Unfortunately, the front brought serious rain just after I rigged up. Then the wind was light when it finally passed. I sailed my new Severne Gator 7.5m2. I like it so far. It is very good looking, but I was too underpowered to really assess it. Then after an hour, the wind died down. Then slowly it filled in a little. I tried to get on a plane desperately, but I ended up way downwind with only a few short rides. As a result, it was a struggle to make it back to the launch. I almost ran out of daylight. That was a little anxiety provoking, but I kept my cool and made it with a little time to spare.
