Arrived late - 3:30pm but that turned out good because the wind was great. The best wind was in the ICW so I made a couple of runs across (even after learning of Randy's 5 hour ordeal of getting back from breaking a mast near the shores of the King Ranch - ouch!) Realy enjoyed playing on the ramps in the deep channel.
My cousin, Jimmy Parrish from S. Carolina was in town and he went out to Bird with me - wants to take lessons next time he's in CC. Jimmy is driving a big rig for a company that hauls Uranium that's mined in Kleberg Co. There's a story in the Sunday Caller-Times about the revived Uranium business boom.
