Wind was more south than usual. The end of the pier was in a wind shadow when I took the reading. I had a 6.6 rigged and took off after @ 10 hrs of house siding and yard work. When I hit the wind line it was scary. Way over powered, threw in more down haul and outhaul and toughed it out. Way big fun despite being exhausted and semi-terrified. Maybe as fast as I ever sailed on Baffin. I hope it blows this well next weekend. | ||
