Another great day. Wind was good for my sail, but overpowered. Tried to play with the harness lines, but got only one side right. It seems that when overpowered, harness lines need to be in a different position.

But it seems this is the end of my V8 8.5 sail. Not sure if I want to take it out any longer. More and more tears are appearing. I now have at least 7 or so unrepaired ones. Not too large, up to 5cm or so, but with every session I get more. Probably doesn't pay to repair it anymore. So that's a new sail unfortunately. Definitely a V8. Works perfectly even when there isn't much wind.

And I need a smaller board as well. There were two other long timers and they all could go faster. Probably my fin was too long for a decent top speed, but a different board will make quite a difference as well I'm sure.

But what? Definitely a Star Board. But what? Formula boards seem to be fragile. Perhaps a Formula Experience? But I don't do up or down wind usually, just half wind. A slalom board would be too much. An s-type perhaps?

Perhaps buy a different lighter board, and no new cambered sail? Stay with the NP Saber 7.2?
