We had a small crowd came out to see the new pit. Every one was just hanging out and I noticed a bay full of white caps. Took a wind reading, 18-21, rigged up took off, planed across the bay, wind died, slogged back, wind picked up headed back out. This repeated several times, sum total: probably planed 3 miles, slogged 8. Truth be told I still enjoyed myself, I'll remember today next spring when I think about passing on a steady 20 mph day to do yard work, forget the yard.
