Took the wind reading about 1700 and it just kept getting better until dark. A bunch of folks came by for dinner, and I didn't get out till about 1800. Put my boss in charge of the pit and got out for 1/2 an hour. Pretty flat water, but a few jumpable faces on port tack. You could hit them with alot more speed than usual due to the wide spacing between the chop. Had to cut it short so as not to be a crumby host. Started getting overpowered towards the end anyway and Dear Abby said rerigging to stay out lomger when you have non sailing company is rude.
