First time since a very long time, great that I had some time for windsurfing again. Initially I thought it might be some cruising, as the wind on the water wasn't as much as I had measured it (11-15 knots), but that was just a lull. There were periods with quite strong gusts, so enough planing. Jibing went quite well, not a planing jibe, but I certainly didn't stop either on a number of occasions. Great day, I was all alone in the ditch, no big ferries you had to watch out for, just me, the clouds, a very green Browns Island, Rangitot and the birds.

Only draw back was another tear in my old 8.5.
