I got out to the lake early. I rigged the 145/8.5. I was making it work in the gusts, but I was losing a lot of ground downwind. I had repaired the rollerbar harness Sunday. The wind started to pick up, but the harness hook was started slipping again. Then, the roller boke off. I had a pretty long beat upwind to get home. The 8.5 was starting to get to be a handful without the harness as the breeze filled in. I was unable to find someone else with a spare spreader bar. Early exit...pisser.

The one cool thing that happend today, was on one run, I got some pretty good air off a small motorboat wake. Considering how marginal the wind was and how flat it was at the time, it was pretty cool to get the 52cm fin completely out of the water.
