Started off as just a day to get out of the house, but I actually got a little sailing in. The kids had the day off from school (a Monday) and so we went out and my wife took out the Windglider again. She's doing great with it, and as I have some small sails from a Gorge quiver I never use, we need to just buy a longboard so she can sail a real board.

It wasn't howling, but I decided to take my 6.5 and the Seatrend out. I was able to get planing a few times, but mostly schlogged around while being passed by powered-up 8.5's and such. I was ready to go buy a bigger sail right then and there. But, I'm trying to hold off, so I can buy a whole new quiver next fall.

All in all, a worth it day, but not an incredibly fun one.
