Sunday May 28, 2006, 10:30p-1:30p

15th session in 2006
Sailed at Windy Point
Wind from the S (mph)
        lulls: 8
        average: 12
        gusts: 18
Rated a 7 of 10

Board: Starboard START
Sail: 1.7 Sailworks Retro Ripper
Fin: Finworks H3/ Rainbow XTR
Suit: Boardshorts
Water Temperature: 77 F
Air Temperature: 90 F

Overcast, puffy, and a bit choppy. Not an ideal day for learning, but Evan was a champ. He never complained, seemed to be having fun, and it was challenging conditions. The 2.5m2 was a bit too big for the choppy, gusty conditions. I rigged the 1.7m2 for him and he did great. I have the rigs set up sweet now. They are as light and tuned as I can get them. I reeled him in after he got to the end of the 85ft. rope about 30 times. Next step will be tethering our boards together, but I will wait for a better day.
