        lulls: 5
        average: 12

Rated a 3 of 10

Board: Mistral Screamer 115
Sail: 7.0 North Natural
Fin: Orca Weed 34cm
Suit: O'Neill 3/2 Evolution

Woke up to big wind, and waves left over from front that was passing through last night. When I made it to the launch, one guy was out ripping up on the whitecaps. I quickly rigged. The guy next to me asked what I was going to rig. He said he was going with his smallest sail. I knew deep down it might shut down, and I rigged big. I got a few planing rides in, and the wind shut down... Listen to your gut. At least I got some. Time to chill back at the beach-house...
