Man, it's been dead around here lately, not even any hope for wind most days. It's my fault, though, I'm the one who just bought a new quiver of Ezzy Infinities. Anyway, the forecast was calling for a breath of wind, so I decided to roll on out to Bird, as I couldn't drum up any sailors for Grassy Point. I rigged my new 7.8 Infinity and went out. Although it seemed like there should be enough wind for planing, I had trouble getting going. Then, it died a lot and that was that. I didn't get planing for more than a few seconds, and everything seemed wrong, like it did with the 6.5 Sailworks. That tells me it's the Seatrend, which I guess is a difficult board to sail. I regret buying it now, but I have it so I'll keep trying. | ||
