I was really tired arriving and my sailing reflected it. I told Florence I rigged my 5.4 and she burst out laughing. She was right. After about 20 minutes of the Tail Walk on the Wild Side I rigged down to the 4.7. That was too little for about 30 minutes, but I put a little more pocket in it and off I went, powered up. Part of the problem isn't so much the size of the sail, but the size of the board. The wind can really get under it.

But I was just off again, humbled. Didn't make a good jibe all day, no good jumps. Didn't get a very high speed nor sail for a great distance. Just a weird day.

Everyone around seemed to have a lot of fun and this is by far the windiest spring I have had since I've been here. My 5.4 might become my most used sail!
