Board: Carve 99
Sail: 5.4 Infinity
Fin: 10" Wardog Weed Wave
Suit: Exo
Water Temperature: 71 F
Air Temperature: 83 F

Ultimately frustrating day as I rigged too small and had a lot of trouble getting on a plane, staying on a plane, having enough speed to jump or jibe, and enough power to stay upwind. It was a struggle from start to finish.

I still have a lot of trouble with not sailing "quiet" -- I am the King of Killing a Plane. If I'm not totally wound, I tend to struggle. Something I really need to work on getting better at. I will say guys about 60 pounds lighter were on sails just a bit smaller than mine. I need to buy a 6.0. But, I should have bit the bullet and rigged my 6.6. My rationale in not doing so was that it almost always builds. It didn't today, and it seemed windy with guys coming off the water when I arrived and announcing they are wound tight on their mid-4's.
