Winds all week with no way to escape has been hurting me. All work makes me a dull boy. I knew I had a shot at some wind today. I got out to Windy Point as fast as I could. White caps were on the water, but people were coming in.

I rigged the 7.2m2 and went out in the Cross 117. Whitecaps were gone now. I got one nice puff and rode it into the inlet across the lake from AYC. I gybed, the wind got squirrely, and then it started shutting down. I was trying to think who's property I would try to drift on to. I was hoping they did not have dogs. Fortunately, a gust finally came and lifted me almost to Windy Point, and then it totally died. As I drifted closer to the shore, a final breath of wind, a quick submerged uphaul, and I made it back. No swimming.

I then traded boards for the C145, and went out and got a few rides, but mostly schlogged, as the wind dwindled.

Still a gorgeous day, and I got away from work. I am a lucky guy.
