Great day. I got up early and hit the road. Not as early as Brian and Laura. Decided I would sail BIB, although I was worried it would be too shallow. Wind was nice when I got there @ 11am. It was averaging 15mph with gusts to 25mph. This means I get to rig my favorite board and sail. I was the second person on the water. It was good, but a bit holey. Then it shut down @ 1pm to 5-10 mph for an hour and a half. B & L showed up saying they got skunked at The Packery. I met Tom Seymour, a nice guy. Then I saw Nostradamus (Mike Murphy) and asked him if the wind might come back? He predicted it would. I was not so sure. Brian went out in the light wind to freestyle. I got out the 7.0m2 and the C145, but before going to the trouble to rig it, I decided to go out on my original set up.

That was when the wind filled in nice! It was great. I am becoming more in tune with my gear each session. I had some nice gybes (still not letting go of the boom soon enough). I am also finding out how to get the C117 planing even sooner.
