I got off work early, and saw the iwindsurf showed a peak of 39 mph and an average @30. When I got there, people had rigged 4.0's. I got out the 6.3m2. No sooner than I was getting to unfurl the sail, people were say it was shutting down. I rigged up anyway. I got a got a few nice rides but was losing gound to windward. The wind really started to back off. I pulled off my first short board tack today trying to stay upwind. I caught a favorable wind shift and schlogged back to the beach.

When I got home, I could not believe the iwindsurf graph. It really did not feel that windy to me...

Still a nice warm January day, and I wonder how much longer before it will get too cold to sail.
