Excellent, back from a month Europe, and I can windsurf the next day! Started with the Carve, but there was just a gust to take me to the other side, and for the next 5 minutes just nothing. I finally managed to waterstart and slog back. I'm getting fairly good in slogging with the Carve BTW. Still need some wind, but I can keep my balance and the board under control.

So I rigged the 8.5 and went out again. Great fun. Enough wind to get to full speed. Did some jibes with where I didn't stop at all. No carving jibes yet, but I'm definitely improving. After two hours or so the wind became to strong, just more than the 8.5 could handle.

So I tried the Carve again. Wind was far more consistent, with strong long gusts of up to 20 knots. And I finally managed a jibe with the Carve!! Finally, the days of the waterstart are near. I hope.
