I could have seen it from the windmeter graphs: the lulls were 5 knots, the highs 25 knots. That means it's shitty windsurfing. When there was a gust it was too strong, and in the meantime I was just laying in the water waiting for enough wind to waterstart. The wind and waves were strong enough to drift you 100 metres away from where you started. So basically I didn't windsurf. Was in the water for perhaps 15 minutes. Bummer. Should have gotten to Takapuna Beach, the windmeter gave much higher lows there.
