First time in the surf. First attempt got out past last bar, tough time w/wind shadow, finally got going, jibed back too far and got caught at the bar break. Tough to waterstart, got up and sailed in. Second attempt, wind started to back off, but I had powered up the sail. Got through to the outside bar, got sideways and broke mast. That was enough for today. Thanks to Joe and Jeff for help with mast removal. It will be better next time. | ||
