All the effort finally paid off. As I said on Thursday, I should begin to trust my waterstarting skills, and I did. I just went backwards and forwards, perfect. Waterstarting still requires a lot of strength, very tiring. And because I can't jibe, I always have to beach or water start.
In the end I had to give up because I was too tired. Couldn't get my backfoot in the straps, just the strength to keep the board under control while I swiftly tried to put my backfoot in the straps became too much.
Played a lot with the settings as well. First I had my footstraps to wide I believe. Hurts the front foot, now I'm less into it, just my toes stick out. Works better I think.
Great time and hopefully my control of the board will improve. And I have to learn how to jibe this board. Completed one jibe, but fell in 1s after the sail flip.
