Perfect day. Makes a lot of difference if you windsurf on a lake or the sea! No chop to speak of. I could see I had improved a lot. All that windsurfing on the sea has improved my balance a lot. My jibes went very well. Not yet planing out of the jibe, but must of them succeeded with my retaining even a bit of speed.

Bought an NP 430 X6 mast and a Saber 6.2 2005 for use with my Carve. It was way to gusty to have a nice time sailing with such a light board. It was just waiting for wind, and when the gust came you just rode it. Perfect for my high volume board. So the average windspeed above is more the average gust speed.

And I was in my short sleeve. Water wasn't that cold, but it helped I barely fell. Because of the lulls I tried the V8 8.5 as well, but that was a bit hard to handle in the real gusts, and didn't do a lot for the lulls, so I went back to the Saber 7.2. Perfect stable sail.
