Man, the water around here is up really high. We've had a lot of flooding north of town and downtown had some short term flooding two of the last three days. Today was the first nice day in about two weeks.

I was going to sail on Oso, but it can be polluted after heavy rain, so I went to Grassy instead. I had to park on the road and rig then hoof it to the launch. The water was 6-10 inches over the dirt road to the launch. That'll kill a car.

I had a pretty good time sailing, though the weeds were bad and it was more gusty than usual. I did manage a few wobbly duck jibes and a few good step and sail first jibes. My jumping is coming along pretty well. I actually got a few good chop hops off. My timing was good today and I was able to put to use some tips I've read recently. That felt good. Hopefully next time I'm in choppier water I'll get some big air! ;-)
