        average: 10
        gusts: 15
Rated a 6 of 10

Board: BIC Nova
Sail: NP Saber 7.2 2005
Suit: Short sleeve.
Air Temperature: 14 C

Long time without a good surfsession, so when the sky was clear and the wind blowing at over 17 knots at a certain point, I went home early. Wind seems to drop in Auckland after 2pm, but when I rigged it was probably still 12 with some gusts. It felt more though, so that's why I rigged the 7.2. I really need a windmeter, because the 8.5 would have served me better.

I found it a bit hard to get away from the shore, must be the SW, so my runs were fairly short. Went planing into the jibes, that part is under control it seems. Getting out of a jibe and planing is another story. But working on it.

It was also nice to feel a stable platform under your feet. Quite a difference with my Carve 99. And still in the short sleeves. Not sure if I should switch. I wasn't really cold, unless you fall in. But my guess is that the water is still 18 or 19 degrees.
