Sail: NP Saber 7.2 2005
Fin: Drake Freeride 320
Suit: Short sleeve.
Air Temperature: 15 C

First time on the water with my Carve 99. Not a success. I never have windsurfed on a small board before, and clearly this will take some time before I can.

My equipment wasn't ideal, my smallest sail is an NP 7.2. But that's all I have right now.

The problems: I can't uphaul the sail, the board sinks. Tacking doesn't work, because if you stop, the board sinks. It's probably called Carve, because you have to.

But unfortunately there wasn't enough wind to get planing, so I couldn't jibe either. There was barely enough wind for a beach start, so I stayed very close to the beach so I had to swim only a dozen metres or so.

Clearly lots of work to do, but that's why I bought this board. And I better make sure my waterstarts become perfect.
