No wind. Even the Pro-Tech couldn't save the day. Even "THE SACRIFICE", Mike Burke, leaving to watch golf on TV couldn't save the day. But I rigged - first time out the max speed was 10 mph, 2nd time out, I actually caught a good ride - short & sweet but bumped the GPS to 21 mph (amazing for no wind) and I earned my 5 o'clock beer. Enjoyed visiting with die-hard sailors who waited it out, but never rigged. Still, it was an incredible 5 days since Bob came back home - he'll be pulling out tomorrow. At least he's heading to a windy place - Hood River. | ||
