Felt out-of-sync today. I initially struggled with jibes, but got better when I realized I was putting lee foot too far back on board. But sail flips still sucked. At this point, I wonder if I'll ever nail consistency. I can jibe and stay dry, but I only plane out 1 of 10 and I'm frustrated by that. Perhaps I need to just work on improving my duck jibes and do those exclusively. My speed of 31.7 was disappointing. I think the 12" WeedWave is a great fin, I really like it, but it's got a top end of about 31.7 mph. I think my other fins might have let me loose for another 1 or 2 mph.

Mitchell had a fun day on the Carve 111, figuring out a shortboard. He's improving a lot, and will be planing in the strap and harness by the end of the year at this pace.
